There Is More to Your Story
Everyone has a story and sometimes parts of that story can feel heavy, confusing, or overwhelming. I became a therapist because I believe every person’s story deserves to be heard, understood, and worked through with others.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, past trauma, or major life transitions, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I work with both adolescents and adults to create a supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
I received my Master's degree from the University of South Carolina in 2017 and am a Licensed Independent Social Worker – Clinical Practice (LISW-CP). I worked with various non-profit organizations and in community based mental health before creating my own private practice. I approach all of my work through a trauma-informed lens.
I have specialized training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), an evidence-based approach that helps process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences. EMDR can be especially helpful if you feel stuck in patterns that talk therapy alone hasn’t fully resolved. My approach is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs, whether you're working through anxiety, trauma, managing stress, relationship challenges, or simply trying to better understand yourself.
My passion for this work was born out of a deep desire to help individuals heal from the hurts and experiences that hold them back from living fully. I continue this work because of the freedom and joy I have witnessed in my own life and in the lives of my clients.
My goal is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself and those around you.
Reaching out is often the hardest step and it’s the most courageous first step toward change. I’d be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
